IHSS -Home Support Service
At Neighbors Homecare, we provide In-Home Support Services (IHSS) to help individuals remain safely and comfortably in their homes while maintaining independence and dignity.
IHSS is a Medicaid-supported program that provides assistance with daily living activities for individuals who are elderly, disabled, or living with chronic health conditions.
Our trained caregivers work closely with clients and families to deliver personalized support that promotes safety, comfort, and quality of life.
- Who Qualifies for IHSS?
Individuals may qualify for IHSS services if they:
- Are Medicaid eligible
- Have a physical disability, chronic illness, or functional limitation
- Require assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Need support to remain safely at home rather than in an institutional setting
Eligibility and service hours are determined through an assessment by the appropriate Medicaid case management agency.
